During the fallas, the Valencian paella is one of the most popular dishes, and cooked by the falleros themselves at their venue. Another typical Valencian meal is the "cena de sobaquillo", meaning under the arm, every night the falleros bring their own sandwich under the arm. It's a very typical Valencian tradition.
We
cannot forget to mention one of the most representative drinks of the
fallas, the "Cazalla". This is a “shot” served with
cold water and not to be missed.
Another typical drink here in Valencia is the Horchata made of tiger nuts, or the sweet pumpkin dumplings called buñuelos, sprinkled with sugar and served with hot chocolate.
